A car needs an MOT every year after it’s three years old. After this, an MOT test is required yearly to stay up to date and legally allowed to drive.
Once you’ve passed, you’ll get an MOT test certificate showing the date of the test and the expiry date, meaning you can keep track of when you can come back and see us next year.
No. It’s illegal to drive a car without a valid MOT certificate. This means you could be prosecuted for doing so, making it vitally important your MOT stays up to date.
It’s recommended by both us here at Advanced Service Centre and manufacturers themselves, that a car should be serviced every 12,000 miles or every 12 months, whichever you reach first as the driver.
If you have a fault light appear or your car feels different but you’re not sure what the issue is, our expert equipment can diagnose exactly where the problem lies- getting you back on the road as quick as possible.
